Operational principle
The principle is based on the relationship between the saturated vapor pressure and temperature of the evaporated liquid in a closed temperature measurement system, and temperature measurement is carried out. When the temperature change is felt by the temperature bulb, the saturated vapor in the closed system generates corresponding pressure, causing a change in the curvature of the elastic element, causing displacement at its free end. The displacement is then amplified by a gear amplification mechanism to become an indicator value. This type of thermometer has the characteristics of small temperature bulb volume, fast response speed, high sensitivity, and intuitive reading. It almost combines all the advantages of glass rod thermometers, bimetallic thermometers, and gas pressure thermometers. It can be manufactured into an earthquake resistant and anti-corrosion type, and can achieve remote transmission of contact signals, thermal resistance signals, 0-10mA or 4-20mA signals.
It is currently the most widely used and comprehensive mechanical temperature measuring instrument in terms of performance.

bimetallic thermometer is a type of temperature sensor that uses the principle of thermal expansion of metals to measure temperature. It consists of a bimetallic strip, which is made by bonding two different metals with different coefficients of thermal expansion. When the temperature changes, the strip bends due to the unequal expansion of the two metals, and this mechanical movement is converted into a temperature reading.
How It Works:
When the temperature increases, the bimetallic strip bends toward the metal with the lower thermal expansion rate.
When the temperature decreases, the strip bends in the opposite direction.
This bending motion is mechanically linked to a pointer, which moves across the scale to indicate the temperature.
